Out of Reach

Sarah wanted to talk to Adam, but could not reach him.

Sarah: Adam, I've been trying to reach you all day. Where have you been?

Adam: Oh sorry, when did you call?

Sarah: I first called you at 3 o'clock.

Adam: Oh, sorry. I was playing soccer.

Sarah: Well, I tried calling you again at 5:00

Adam: Oh, I was going home on the train.

Sarah: Well, why didn't you return my message?

Adam: I was, I was sleeping.

Sarah: Well, what happened when you got off the train?

Adam: As I was leaving the train, I saw a friend and we started talking and I just didn't look at my phone. What was it that you wanted to talk about?

Sarah: Well, I was thinking about getting a new boyfriend.
