(A1) Pronunciation Challenge - Part 3 - Speak Clearly
Part 3: Pronunciation — Listening VIP Training 🎤
Welcome to the pronunciation lesson.
This is called Listening VIP Training.
VIP means:
- Vocabulary
- Intonation
- Pronunciation
This is one of the most important and most popular activities in the course.
How the lesson works
First, you can watch a short model video.
The teacher does the activity first so you can:
- Hear correct pronunciation
- Hear rhythm and intonation
- Get extra listening practice
The video is short (about 4 minutes).
You can skip it if you want and start right away.
No reading first 🚫📖
At the start, you do not see the text.
This is very important.
Why?
Reading first causes problems.
If you read before listening, you may:
- Say words the wrong way
- Learn bad pronunciation
- Repeat the same mistakes
So the rule is simple:
- Listen first
- Repeat from memory
- Check the text only if needed
What you do
- Listen to one sentence
- Repeat it
- Record your voice
- Get a score
You always get feedback.
You can:
- Speak naturally
- Use short sounds
- Use pauses and chunks
If it sounds natural, you can get a good score.
About scores
- You do not need 100%
- 80–90% is good
- 100% every time means it is too easy
This is practice, not a test.
The goal is to notice and improve.
Why this works
- You hear English first
- You copy real pronunciation
- You train listening and speaking together
This is how people learn language.
This is the most popular activity with students.
Relax. Have fun.
Train listening, and pronunciation will improve 🎧✨
