This course is on sale for 10 USD as new lessons are uploaded every day, but many of the lessons will remain free. Students can try them first before they purchase the full course.
The price of the course will go up to 25 USD once it is completely uploaded on next Monday. If students sign up now, they will get a new lesson every day until all of the 12 lessons are uploaded.
Each lesson set has 9 activities for 10 lesson.
1) One Minute Grammar
Students can watch a short animation that quickly explains the grammar point. By knowing the grammar point first, students can then hear it in the following video lessons.
2) Word Herd
Students can practice listening for gist. This is a fun way to practice listening and preview the conversations.
3) Listening Quiz
Students can watch short videos, each between 30 and 60 seconds. These are the same videos from ELLLO, but they are played separately, and each video has three questions, not one, like on ELLLO.
4) Talk Blocks
This activity helps students learn grammar and pronunciation. Each line from the previous videos is played line by line, and the students can see the words appear in small word blocks. Students can also hear the pronunciation and grammar modeled by the teachers.
5) Speak and Peek
Students can now work on listening and pronunciation. The entire conversation is broken up with gaps in the audio. Students can listen to the words in chunks and try to repeat what they hear. This activity helps students hear how words and spoken together.
6) Good Answers
Students can practice speaking fluency by listening to audio of questions related to the grammar. Students have eight seconds to respond to each question.
7) Grammar Review
Students can watch a short video of a teacher explaining the grammar in more detail.
8) Excel in English
Student can work on grammar by completing a word puzzle in Excel. Student can watch a video of the teaching doing the activity.
9) Do TELL
TELL stands for Todd's Extensive Listening Lessons. Students can listen to a short audio talk that uses the conversation.
