Hi, my name is Mike. I'm from Canada and I'm here from elllo.org. The question today is what languages are spoken where you live?
Well, I'm from Canada so obviously English and the second national language is French, although I don't come from the East Coast. I come from the other coast, the West Coast and there's not much French spoken on the West Coast. Basically Quebec Province is the only Province in Canada that's French speaking. Other than that there are scattered parts in Canada where people speak French, but for the most part on the West Coast besides school, which everybody is required to take French in school up until at least the age of fifteen. I took French up until I was fifteen and then I started taking Japanese because I was a little tired of French, so besides English and French those are the only two languages, and I'm sticking with English and Japanese.
