Mike: And this is Mike from Singapore.

MJ: Ok, Mike, today, what should we talk about?

Mike: About cost. What is expensive in your city, of Pusan, Korea.

MJ: Oh, Korea, I think in Korea, the natural resources is really expensive. Because Pusan has a sea, and then Seoul has lots of import and export between countries. But we still lack of natural resources that we have to import from another country. How about Singapore?

Mike: Well, I think probably the same, because Singapore we have almost zero natural resources. Even water is imported...drinking water. So..but I think I want to talk about housing. Because Singapore is small it's not small it's tiny.

MJ: Tiny‚!

Mike: Yeah, tiny. And, so there is not lot of land, of course. and so housing it's … well there's tall buildings everywhere...skyscrapers. Even apartments are like 30 stories, 40. So you can just imagine and for say, for a two, three bedroom apartment. For normal three bedroom apartment, price can be as high as about a hundred and fifty thousand US dollars.

MJ: Wow. It's expensive.

Mike: Right, right. and that is for the cheaper housing

MJ: Oh!

Mike: The government.. well the cheaper housing. And for the private houses, for private apartments. It can be for three bedrooms. Probably around may be five, six hundred US dollars, possible. So, yeah, it's expensive.
