It depends on what type of kiss it is, of course. I’ve seen a lot of couples do that, and they tend to create awkward situations, especially among friends. I think if you’re civilized enough, you should know better than to make out in public. On the other hand, if you are just happy to see someone, for example, a family member, and you want to greet them with a kiss, then I think that is normal and there’s nothing to be concerned about.
