more accepting of

Meaning: More willing to allow or approve of something.

Examples:

  1. People are becoming more accepting of different cultures.
  2. Schools are now more accepting of casual dress codes.

become more acceptable

Meaning: To change so that something is now considered okay by society.

Examples:

  1. Remote work has become more acceptable since the pandemic.
  2. Wearing sneakers to work has become more acceptable in recent years.
