Hello, my name is Veronica, and I'm from the United States. My question today is, are tattoos frowned upon in your community?
I don't believe that tattoos are frowned upon in my community. As a matter of fact, I believe that tattoos have become even more accepted as the years go by. Remember back in the day, it used to be that people with tattoos were looked at as maybe somebody that had been in jail or somebody who was in trouble, or maybe even the biker. You know, tattoos always had kind of a negative connotation, but now a lot of people have tattoos and they see it as something that is artistic.
They treat their body like a canvas, and they're very proud of their tattoos. You see a lot of tattoos, especially within the creative community. People who have jobs that require creativity, but even people who work in regular jobs now. They used to make them wear long sleeves or cover up and now I believe a lot of companies and a lot of communities are more accepting of tattoos because they're starting to see that they're more common and they've become more acceptable.
