Hello, my name's Elaine, and I'm from England, although I live in Italy now. My question is, how is climate changing in your area?

The first thing I think about with climate change is season change, so the summer and the spring and the autumn and the winter. So in the summer I've noticed that there are rising temperatures, which reach as high as 40 degrees now in the month of August. Also, we have a lot of wildfires here in the south of Italy.

In winter, because of rising sea levels, we see more flooding along the coast and the coastal towns. We've had snow in the last couple of years, which is unheard of in the south of Italy, and even those big hailstones, which are like tennis balls, that suddenly come from what seems to be nowhere.

So we are starting to see the changes of climate change. What about you? Are there effects of climate change in your area? What have you noticed?
