Hello, my name is Suzetti and I'm from Peru. And the question is, is it common to have a big family in your country?
I'd say it used to be very common to have a big family in Peru, but not anymore. For example, my dad has nine siblings all from the same mother. My grandma: she had 10 or 12 siblings. Most of them have already passed away, but I think the average during the 50s or the 60s was more than five.
Nowadays, I'm thinking about my friends who do have children because I don't have any, I'd say the average amount of children people are having is one or two, but no more than three. So yeah, I'd say now it's more common to have a small family than a big family.
