Should people take law into their own hands?
Hi, my name is Billie and I am currently living in South Africa. And my question today is, should people take law into their own hands?
Simple answer, no. The reason I say this is because we come from such different backgrounds culturally, and also just family life and certain morals and upbringing is a whole lot different from one culture to another, even in the same country. So, I think if everyone was just to decide as to what law would fit best a circumstance, it would make the world a lot more chaotic because what I feel is just and fair, somebody from a different culture or somebody even just next door to me might feel that that was not fair and it could have been handled differently. So, I think the law is there to make sure that everyone does get treated equally, although sometimes that equality slips through the cracks, but I think that they are trying their best.
Anyways, that's just my opinion. What about you? What do you think? Should people take the law into their own hands? Let me know.
