What is trendy right now?

Something 'trendy' is fashionable and popular.  Notice the following:

Baggy jeans are very popular.

'Baggy jeans' are big, loose fitting jeans.  Notice the following:

  1. Baggy jeans are really comfortable.

It's a contrast.

'Contrast' focuses on the differences between things.  Notice the following:
