Hello everyone! My name is David, and I come from Kenya. The question i'm gonna focus on right now is would I like to be in the army?
As much as people from the army protect us in our daily lives from things like war, I wouldn't like to be in the army that much because I've lived with people around me who've been in the army, my friends and family, and I know what it takes and it does to be in the army. You have to be restricted to some certain levels sometimes, and you go away from your family for so long without seeing them. You're fixed in a way like, with the contract that you sign, you're not flexible if anything comes along your way, you're not flexible to switch to the better option. You have to stick to your contract, so I think all in life to pleased myself in the situation where I'm away from my family, for more than let's say five years, because I've been transferred somewhere else, and the only time I have to come and see my family is like a week or so.
And I really appreciate what people from the
army do, but it's the kind of life that you live
once you're in the army. I wouldn't like to live
that kind of life. I'd like to live a life where
I'm happy. And anything that I'm doing, I'm
doing cause I'm happy. I don't want to be locked
up in a situation where, just feel like, I'm really not
happy with the situation that I got myself into,
and getting out of a problem. So being in the
army is a really nice thing, but as for me, my opinion is, I wouldn't like to be in the army, and I really
respect people in the army, my family, my friends, and everything so don't get me wrong about being in
the army. It's just my personal opinion about you know
family comes first. That's it.
