A talk about praising kids in school. You know, I, I don't think we, we praise kids too much in school but on the other hand I think if we do praise kids too much, it's, it's much better than, than the other way around. I remember that back in Canada when I was growing up, my teachers were quite strict and we often got yelled at but we never really got told by anybody that hey you're a good student or I enjoy teaching you or you're a good class or you did a good job. It really didn't, just didn't happen and for that reason it was very difficult to learn in that kind of atmosphere.

So, no, I don't think we, we praise kids too much and I, I think we should, you know, keep telling kids they're doing a good job. Let them know they're on the right path. But, on the other hand, we've got to let them know when, when they're not and the flip side of praising kids is that you've got to be able to tell them when they've done something that's wrong too.
