Well, we Filipinos, we have a close family ties, so even if like the children already got married, they would still stay in their parents' house and I think it's common to pool their money so they can share to cover the expenses in the house, like to pay for the utility or utilities and to buy groceries or those kinds of things.

But it still depends on what kind of family you have because some people here in the Philippines, like all the parents, will be paying for the expenses even though their children are already married and some children, they shoulder all the expenses for their parents once they start working.

So in your country, do you families often pool their money?
