Grandmother

My maternal grandmother is more than 90 years old. She has seen it all. She lived in the big city of Accra during her formative years and worked for over 30 years living in the city, but now she's retired and living a quiet, peaceful life in the village. She shares with me words of wisdom and so many anecdotes from her life. I truly, deeply love my grandmother because she always helps me find a way, even when I am in the biggest of dilemmas. The thing that fascinates me about my granny is how she manages to stay strong and go about her duties like an average person. At her age, she looks healthy and performs her normal duties every day. What a strong old woman.
