What personal info is none of other people's business?

Lesson Activities

Hello, my name is Grace. I'm from South Africa, and what personal info do I think is no one else's business?

I would say having children. I love kids, and it doesn't mean that everyone's going to have kids, and some people don't like kids and they will have children, but I think putting the pressure on people, especially if you see a couple together and you go, right, when are you having children? Or just asking someone because of their age if they're going to have children. I'm fortunate in that I don't really get that question a lot, but I do think it's something personal, that it's not just something you do. It's not like going to the shop to buy some milk. It's not like just getting a pet. That's a big responsibility, but you know you're going to outlive your pet, your child will be your responsibility, your connection, someone that you're connected to for the rest of your life. It's not something that's mentioned or should be mentioned in just really casual conversation with acquaintances.

So yeah, I would say that's something that's none of people's business.
