Hi, my name is Nydja and my question today is what it's like to live on a United States Air Force base.

I was a military brat growing up and so I've moved all over the world living on different bases. On base you actually have your own food store, your own clothing store, and their own special restaurants, so I actually went to school on a base as well. We had our own teachers, a whole education system set aside for the people serving in the United States military, and it was definitely a different experience. I had a lot of friends who actually their houses, the military provided you homes, so a lot of people lived on base.

We go on the base to go to school, to stay after for sports, and to hang out even, so life on a military base is definitely different than life elsewhere in the United States. It's closed in by gates. It's a different world completely.
