ELLLO is for you!
Hello. My name is Todd. I am an English teacher. I created ELLLO more than 20 years ago.
I first made ELLLO for my students. I wanted them to hear natural English. Many textbook recordings did not sound natural. So I started recording real people.
Today, ELLLO has more than 3,000 listening lessons.
Simple Study Plan for All Levels
It is simple. Just listen.
You can use most lessons in four steps:
- Listen for fun.
- Listen again. Take the quiz.
- Read the script.
- Listen again while you read. Notice the words, grammar, and sounds.
Listen every day
Try to listen to two or three short lessons each day. After one month, you may notice a big change. English may sound clearer and easier.
Choose a lesson at your level. If it is too hard, try an easier level. If it is too easy, try a harder level.
ELLLO has six lesson types. Each type is different. All of them can help you learn.
Check out the free lesson library. All lessons come with audio, a transcript, and quiz. Many lessons come with a vocabulary lesson, too.
