Bus Ride

Emma talks about her local commute.

I don't drive. So my main form of transportation is catching a bus. When I was at university, I would have to catch a bus to and from the campus. So I would leave my house in the morning, walk around the corner to the bus stop. I'd catch the first bus into the main town area, get off the bus, go to a different bus stop, then catch a second bus that would take me the rest of the way to the campus. So I would do that three times a week for about four years. And I didn't really mind riding the bus because the people on there were usually really nice. And the bus drivers were always really great. But the only problem that I had was that when the first bus was late, I would miss my second bus and I would have to wait about half an hour for another second bus to arrive. So sometimes I would be late to my lessons, but mostly it was okay.
