My Hero

I have a 31-year-old daughter who is my hero. She has almost finished with her degree in nursing. She will also be ready to graduate soon from college. She's doing an internship right now at a local hospital, and I enjoy her phone calls telling me about her day. We talk almost every day. She and her son and husband live an hour away, so we don't get to see each other as often as I wish we did, but I'm very proud of her. She is very compassionate and patient as well as kind and understanding. I think those are four of the qualities that make up a great nurse. I'm happy that she's found a career that she has a real love for.
