Tom: I don't live in my own country, so I don't get to vote. How about you Jess?
Jess: My situation's the same. I haven't lived in Britain for about five years so in that time I haven't voted but I think if I were in Britain, I would definitely vote. How about you Tom?
Tom: I'd definitely vote. Actually, what I do is we can arrange for my mum to vote on my behalf, so right now my mum has two votes. There was one period a couple of years ago when my sisters were also out of Britain, and they transferred their votes to my mum, and in the election she got to vote four times.
Jess: I didn't know that was possible.
