Meaning: Although; used to show contrast between two ideas.

Examples:

  1. Even though his jokes are risky, they make people laugh.
  2. She went to the show even though she was tired.

really

Meaning: Very; used to emphasize an adjective or feeling.

Examples:

  1. Kevin Hart is really funny.
  2. I really enjoy standup comedy.

find

Meaning: To think or feel something about someone or something.

Examples:

  1. I find both comedians really funny.
  2. She finds that movie boring.

sense of humor

Meaning: The ability to understand and enjoy jokes or funny things.

Examples:

  1. He has a really nice sense of humor.
  2. Her sense of humor makes everyone laugh.

racist

Meaning: Showing unfair dislike or prejudice against people of other races.

Examples:

  1. Some people think his jokes are racist.
  2. We should avoid making racist comments.

standup comedy

Meaning: A type of entertainment where a comedian tells jokes to an audience.

Examples:

  1. Russell Peters is famous for his standup comedy shows.
  2. We went to a standup comedy night at the club.
