Dad's Birthday
Rachel talks about her father.
Today is my dad's birthday. He's 81 years old, which makes me feel very old too. I went to visit him and took him a birthday card and a present. I had bought a packet of razor blades as his gift, not a very exciting present. I know I had forgotten. It was his birthday, and I picked up the first thing I saw in the supermarket, which I know he likes and uses. He was happy receiving a practical gift, especially as the razor blades he uses are very expensive.
