Have you ever had a beloved pet?

I've actually always been a dog person and I've always wanted a dog, but I never really got one up until now. So now I have, I would like to say small puppy, but he is not that small. He's Belgian Shepherd, a Malinois, and he's becoming very big, which is an increasing problem in our household.

But to be honest with you, I never really understood people who had pets, and I never understood how they could love a pet so much. But now that I have him, his name is Maki, by the way, like the sushi. Now that I have Maki in my life, I can definitely understand that you can love an animal so, so much. And if it was up to me, I would spend all of my waking hours with him, but I can't. So I just have to be at peace with that. But yeah, he is a very, very beloved dog in our house.
