Is technology making our lives better or worse?

Lesson Activities | Free PDF Worksheet

Hi, my name is Saif and I'm from Pakistan. And my question is, is technology making our life better or worse?

Whether you're a scientist, an army general, surgeon, engineer, or even a musician, technology not only makes our everyday life tasks easier, but also plays a vital role in strategizing, planning, and executing future plans and decisions. Now, there is a negative side to technology which we all conveniently ignore. It can be invasive to our privacy. It can hurt our interpersonal communication skills.

Extended screen time in minors has made them addicted leading to eye strain, insomnia, and in worst cases, depression. Indeed, we're building robots to replace factory workers and housemaids, but who knows, one day the same minions we train to be our slaves will be our masters.
