When is it okay to lie?

Lesson Activities | Free PDF Worksheet

Hi, my name is Saif and I'm from Pakistan. My question is, when is it okay to lie?

It's okay to lie, in my opinion, in a scenario when you are protecting someone from knowing a truth, which if they knew, they might end up reacting adversely to it and as a result harm themselves or the people around them or the environment. Most people are reactive in nature rather than rational and it would be best to hide the truth from them for the time being to keep them safe.
